If I could give it 0 starts I would I’m extremely disappointed with my experience here. I came in to get braiding twists done and showed a reference photo of exactly how I wanted my hair to look. Mind you the reference photo I showed her was of me when I had twists. The final result looked nothing like the picture, and the quality was honestly very poor. When I calmly explained that I wasn’t happy with the service and asked if I could receive at least half of my money back, I was met with disrespect and hostility. Instead of trying to fix the issue, the stylist told me she didn’t care that it didn’t look like the photo and said it wasn’t her problem. The situation became even more uncomfortable when she started yelling, trying to push me out of the store, and then acting as if I was the one causing problems. I even had to tell her not to touch me. After charging me $110, she only refunded $30 and insulted me by saying I was “broke” and only asking for money back because I needed it. What makes this worse is that I’ve supported this business before and used to come here for wash and sets. Because she recognized me as a returning customer, it felt like she tried to downplay my concerns instead of handling the situation professionally. I understand that not every hairstyle comes out perfect, but customer service and respect matter. I would not recommend this place based on how I was treated.
